Build Your First Real List

Ship a 40 row qualified list with decision maker contacts, exported, having spent credits only on rows that passed a filter.

The same person, twenty minutes later. You have read the foundations and now want a list.

What this course costs

Modest, and entirely under your control. One qualifier column on about 60 rows, websites on the gaps, and one decision maker on about 40 rows. Read each tool card before you run it and you will know the figure before you spend it.

What you will be able to do

  • Pick the right builder for a market instead of defaulting to the first one you find.
  • Filter before you enrich, so the expensive tools only ever run on rows you believe in.
  • Find the decision maker at a company without knowing what that company calls the job.

Before you start

  • Course 1.1, in particular the credits lesson. This course spends real credits.
  • A saved company context, so the qualifier columns know what you are looking for.

The lessons

  2. 2Pull your first 120 companies from Google Maps7 min readvideoscreenshotsSourcing is charged per row produced. Start at 120 rows so the filter later has something to cut.
  3. 3Turn any directory or listing page into a table7 min readvideoCharged per row extracted, the same as any other builder.
  4. 4Filter before you enrich, the habit that controls your bill8 min readscreenshotsFiltering is free. This lesson is the one that makes every later lesson cheap.
  5. 5Find decision makers at every qualified company9 min readvideoscreenshotsTwo tools, both charged per person returned, so a company that returns nobody costs nothing. Emails are a separate charge on top. The panel prices the run before you commit.
  6. 6Transpose to a people table, then export it5 min readscreenshotsFree. Transposing and exporting do not spend credits.
  7. 7Bring your own list: upload a CSV without breaking it6 min readvideoFree to import. You pay for what you enrich afterwards, never for the upload.

The build that proves it

40 local businesses, two qualifiers, one contact each, exported

Pick a category and a city you know well. Source at least 120 businesses from Google Maps. Add two qualifier columns that matter for your offer. Filter down to about 40. Add official websites, then one decision maker per surviving row. Transpose to a people first table and export it.

You have done it when
A CSV of about 40 rows where every row has a company, a website, a named person with a role, and you can explain why each of the 80 rows you cut was cut.
Credit budget
Whatever those three columns cost on 40 to 60 rows. If it feels large, you did not filter before enriching.
