Find clients for an outbound agency
Find companies hiring SDRs, recently funded, or running ads with no outbound motion, then score them on how much they need outbound help.
2 steps not yet verified live
Tool names and credit costs in this recipe are validated. Some steps work around a platform gap that has not been decisively probed, so treat those as a workaround rather than a documented capability. Check the result before you act on it.
Where the list comes from
Hiring signal first, because SDR and BDR postings are the strongest evidence of outbound intent. Secondary signals layer on top.
The steps
- 1
Orient
Confirm the inputs, compute the expected cost, and tell the user what the run will do before anything spends a credit.
- 2
Source on the strongest signal: SDR/BDR hiring
Find Companies Hiring on LinkedIn (builder, 1c Intent), search each title separately and merge: SDR, Sales Development Representative, BDR, Business Development Representative, Growth Manager, Head of Sales, Outbound Manager.
- 3
Layer the secondary signals
For companies from Step 1, and for a market list if the user insists on list-first: Company Funding Data (1c) / Financing Events Lookup (1c), recent raise means budget and a growth mandate.
- 4
Normalize and dedup
Follow the numbered detail in the skill file. This step is mechanical and its exact tool ids are resolved at run time.
- 5
Enrich firmographics
Industry Classifier (0.2c), Company Headcount (0.2c), Company Annual Revenue (1c), Business Model Finder (0.2c), Find Target Audience (0.2c, B2B/B2C; a B2C company is usually a bad fit for cold email services, so this cheap column removes real waste).
- 6
Outbound-maturity score
The judgement: do they need help, and can they buy? Sales team size: use Company Departmental Headcount (3c, charged on success).
- 7
Run the shared outbound tail
Personas: Founder, CEO, VP Sales, Head of Sales, Head of Growth, CRO. At small companies this is the founder, use Find People Agent (3c) rather than a fixed title list. Signal column: the hiring signal with its age and role count.
- 8
Angle
Handled by the tail's Cold Email Opener (1c), fed the specific signal. The source template's angles are good raw material, but keep them factual.
Where the run should stop
- Normalise and deduplicate before firmographics.
- The outbound maturity score runs after enrichment, never on the raw signal.
What you should end up with
Companies scored on outbound need, with the signal that qualified them and an angle written from it.
